Mattie Dwyer conjured up an idea of sound and feel, thus beginning the ultimate compilation of weirdos now called Decrepit Existence. When Mattie met Rata at a local punk show, they knew they had to collaborate mind and sound. They found babykillin D, a rare breed of Alabama Asian, whose zen persona and feisty beats balance each other. The final element was found in a dust of glitter when Juliet came in on the axe with some dirty riffs. Three months later the orgy of their minds birthed Do Yourself In Records, the band's independent recording project, and the Pulchritudinous EP was released. Done purely by the conglomeration of their own hands, free equipment, and many beers, these sounds experiment with the different influences brought to the band by each member as they search to begin defining a sound that is all their own.


Pulchritudinous EP was recorded in the basement of Senior House MIT. (n3rd5)
